¡Hello! ¿Do you know, where we are? In the heart of the New York city — Times Square.
I am so glad, that you are with me. I am so thankful to you, because… because of all the support, all the involvement in this journey, in this path. ¡Let these moments, current moments, be raw, but so natural, realistic! You know… ¡I am so excited I didn’t stop to believe, to achieve something, and I don’t want you to stop believing, to stop achieving, because I want to share this experience with you, share this path with you, these emotions, this experience, because I waited for so long to achieve these dreams, to stay in the New York city, to challenge myself to become a truly independent singer-songwriter, to practice everyday, to shoot a lot of videos, to meet a lot of new people, to speak with you. To have this experience, this invaluable experience. So, once again — never, never, never stop believing in yourself, achieving your dreams, and never stop living, not just existing. Now, because of the fact, that I’ve missed my bus to the Boston, ¿I want to go with you and… show you some places — you know, we are in the New York city, OK?
¿So, do you want it? I truly want it.
OK, I think it will be interesting.
So, as I’ve already said, we are on the Times Square, in the heart of the New York city, and it is super-inconvenient, because of, hah, a lot of luggage, and there are a lot of — a lot of — people.
But, still, I think we’ll see a lot of interesting places together.
OK, so I have about… two hours more before I will go to the Boston city. Because of the fact, that I will live in some time in New Hampshire and you will go with me, currently, we are still in the New York city — in the quieter part of it, it differs from the Times Square. And while I was looking at all of the different communities, all of the different buildings, different events, that were happening, because, you know, I think the United States is very diverse, it has a lot of unique places, different places with their own unique sides, I… had some thoughts.
I had some thoughts, and… I’ve realized, that I want Russia to be the same — not just like… the clone of the United States, right, but, hm… I think, that Russia is much-much more, than just Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. Of course, these cities are very important, and I have been in two of these cities — yes, they have a lot of historical heritage, and all of this, all of that, but… I’m from the Samara city — Samara is not the… hm… most popular city in the world, even in Russia, but still — it has its own historical heritage, and I want this place, I want Yekaterinburg, I want other places, — Vladivostok — other places, all of them, to be unique. I want to live in the country, where historical heritage is important for its citizens, for the governmental workers, hm… because of the fact, that we still have governmental workers. I want to develop my country, I want to see other countries as well. I find it very important.
And I want to ask you about something. Because of the fact, that we are traveling together, and I’m showing you a lot of things, that are happening with me, happening with us, just… if you want to see something more, just tell me, and I will do my best to show you something more, because… it is the main reason I do all of this — to share with you my experience.
And I don’t want you to think, that I want to show you the «idealistic picture» — just like «I decided to do something, and I will achieve it no matter wha-a-at», you know, it will be idealistic, I will not have any obstacles… No, I’ll have a lot of obstacles, and I want to show you them too, because obstacles make us stronger, if we pass them.
So, I think I have about two hours more, so… ¿Why not to travel and visit some other places as well?
So, OK, let’s do this.
So, the final destination point — the pier of the New York city. I like this day — even despite of the fact, that I had three flights in a row and I was late to go to Boston. I’ve seen a lot of things today and I’ve got an idea — I will think about creating a strategy and finding information before visiting something in order to visit the most museums or other places possible. But… in one hour, I will go to Boston. ¡See you there!
(«I Have Done It, United States»)
It it pretty hard to keep your schedule unchanged, when you have an eight-hour difference between Samara and.. the New York city.
Yes, I have finally done it — after several months of hard work in order to achieve it, I am finally in the United States to gain an invaluable experience in both live and work, which I could apply all across the world, including Russia, and my future projects after several months.
Firstly, I had a flight from Samara to Moscow, then — to Frankfurt (Germany), and finally — New York. Twenty hours of flights in total.
It was very interesting to look at all these interesting and strict German buildings along the way to Frankfurt. ¡Food was good too!
When I was waiting for the flight to NYC, I was looking at people, their behavior — but not on purpose. Yes, the social environment is different from the current Russian one. And I prefer this one much more, to be honest.
I have spent about an hour and a half in order to approve my visa for visiting the United States — huge rows, lots of people.
When I went through the exit, I had a wonderful mood: America, New York, finally; I am here.
I thought, that three hours will be enough to get to the bus with the prepaid ticket, but it was not. I was late for five minutes, even despite of running all across the New York City — metaphorically, but still — with all my heavy luggage. After I missed it, I had to wait for seven hours more in order to go to the Boston city using another bus and spend thirty dollars more.
So, I decided to take a trip across, at least, the most popular places in the city. Have no regrets: it was very interesting.
When I came to the New York pier, it was midnight — later, I got to know, that I am lucky for not being robbed or killed, because the place is pretty dangerous.
By the way, I have had two propositions from gay men at the pier…
I refused, do not worry.
